Gainesville, FL

Schedule: FT, M-F, 8am – 8:30pm – 40 hours per week

Some evenings and weekends will be required

Salary: $20 - 22/hr DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist in writing and editing strategic, clear, creative and clean SEO-driven copy in a fast-paced environment

- May include requesting and integrating content submissions and ideas from collaborators

- Plan and post original, engaging branded content across all SF social media channels, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest and Twitter

- Maintain content and monitoring performance

- Check social and digital accounts daily for alerts and mentions, responding accordingly

- Connect followers with appropriate staff with courteous, informed, professional engagement

- Coordinate with other team members on multi-faceted projects and the department's editorial calendar

- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Excellent attention to detail

- 3 years in a Social Media role

- Mastery of grammar, punctuation and spelling

- Ability to work independently

- Experience with SEO highly preferred
