Job Purpose: Cota & Cota is looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic, preferably with a CDL A or B license. A minimum of 2 years’ experience or vocational school, working on repair and/or service of medium to heavy duty fleet maintenance.

Job Requirements: We require a minimum of 2 years experience or vocational training in the Automotive/Diesel repair and/or medium to heavy duty fleet maintenance. Applicant must be familiar with lift equipment and preventative maintenance schedules; General knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and repair procedures; Strong mechanical aptitude; Ability to perform repairs in inclement weather conditions or roadside; Available for rotational "on-call" schedule; Ability to obtain Class A or B License and endorsements (company reimbursement); ASE Certification is a plus as well as being safety focused. Other requirements: applicants need to be 18 years or older; pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen and must furnish your own tools.

Compensation: This position is an hourly paid position based on experience. We offer, after 90 days, Healthcare coverage with a Health Savings Account, dental coverage, vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance as well as voluntary benefits. Company profit sharing plan 401(A) and 401(K). Heating fuels and services at near cost to employees, bonuses and paid vacations. Uniforms will be provided.

Although, we have many office locations throughout Southern Vermont, please note this position is based in Bellows Falls VT.

We would be willing to assist the right candidate with obtaining their CDL and endorsements if applicant does not currently have a CDL.
