Development Professional Job at Jewish Educational Center / JEC
The Jewish Educational Center in Elizabeth, NJ is seeking an experienced, innovative and dedicated development professional with a strong appreciation for the value of Jewish Education and building community to serve as a Development Professional.
The Development Professional partners with the Executive Vice President to further support the JEC’s mission and commitment to excellence in education and communal service.
The successful candidate will build upon JEC’s development success, cultivate relationships with current and prospective donors, solicit gifts of all sizes, and increase the number of donors and donations. The Development Professional will also coordinate, manage and aspects of development, including campaign strategy, events, reports, solicitations, collateral, grants and more.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated development and fundraising success, experience working closely with professionals and lay leaders in either a not-for-profit or corporate setting. Development and fundraising experience in a day school, non-profit or similar experience in the business world. The candidate will be a self-starter with attention to detail with knowledge of campaign strategy, planning, reporting, and execution. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and enjoys working on several initiatives and projects simultaneously.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
