Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced Desktop Support Level II technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in providing desktop support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and managing client devices and infrastructure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing IT support to our clients, ensuring their systems are running efficiently, and delivering exceptional customer service. Ultimately, you will be a person our customers trust and rely on to provide timely and accurate solutions to their technical problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration
  • Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem
  • Track computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits
  • Talk clients through a series of actions, either via phone, email or chat, until they’ve solved a technical issue
  • Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g. software developers)
  • Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers
  • Refer to internal database or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions
  • Ensure all issues are properly logged
  • Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports
  • Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
  • Maintain jovial relationships with clients
  • Technician will apply skills described above in resolving clients’ issues
  • Troubleshoot software
  • Installation of Operating Systems
  • Removal of viruses/malware
  • Software upgrades and installation
  • Troubleshoot hardware
  • Troubleshoot network issues
  • PC Imaging and configuration
  • Troubleshoot and set up peripherals
  • Providing help desk phone support and assisting end users
  • Call client’s vendors for warranty and troubleshooting issues

Work Environment:

  • Position is onsite in New Holland, PA
  • Clean Driver’s License record. Some travel is necessary
  • Limited physical demands
  • Low-Medium noise level

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
