He/She sells food items and provides customer service while keeping the work area clean and presentable.
Duties
· Greeting customers
· Take orders from customers
· Make sandwiches and salads from deli items from customer instructions
· Keep equipment clean and sanitized
· Manage product maintenance and rotation to avoid damage or spoilage
· Keep entire work area neat and clean
· Ensure efficient supply of deli items in display and deli case
· Prepare food using various equipment such as fryers, stove, ovens and grill
· Pack ready to sell deli products and label them with type, ingredients and pricing info
· Label products with appropriate dates and prices
· Slice/cut, weigh and price deli items
· Cut deli meats and vegetables for salads and sandwiches
· Ensure deli items are ordered, purchased and stocked
· Bake breads, cookies, pastries, whoopie pies, pies
· Cook prepared meals for deli cooler
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.75 - $15.00 per hour
