Basic Function: Provides excellent customer service by taking care of each customers needs and questions, and performing duties in a timely manner.

Examples Of Work Performed:

• Answers phone and takes phone orders correctly.
• Takes customer orders, fills promptly or places in appropriate place for later date.
• Keeps counters, glass, cases, and work area clean and neat.
• Maintains excellent personal hygiene habits.
• Stocks all items as needed to be full at all timesproduct and supply, this includes all self service cases and display shelves and tables as well as service cases.
• Follows all safety and security procedures.
• Slices and weighs meat to customers specification. (16 & 17 year old's are not to use the slicer or mixers under any circumstances)
• Takes out garbage.
• Sweeps and mops floors daily at the end of every shift.
• Opens or closes department without supervision.
• Any other responsibilities assigned by supervisor.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility:

None.

Work Environment: Must be clean and neat in appearance, clothes and shoes clean, hands, nails and hair well kept. Job requires standing for most of the entire work period, must also be able to lift up to 30 pounds, stoop and walk. Must be able to with stand both hot and cold temperatures, possibly working around the ovens and cooking area as well as in the freezers and walk in coolers.
