Schedule: Full Time
Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Location: Hybrid - work from home with a few days in office at Maitland, FL
The role you’ll contribute:
The Decision Support Analyst applies technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills to provide solutions/improvements for Ambulatory Finance team. This person demonstrates competences in decision support and an ability to utilize tools such as Excel, in order to efficiently convert raw data into useful and actionable information. Extensive oral and written communication skills are essential. Actively participate in outstanding customer service and accept responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Character traits include: strong work ethic, technical aptitude, trainability, communicative, team player all with a positive “can do” attitude.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Maintains existing dashboards and reports, which may include profitability reports, productivity reports, ancillary reporting, etc.
- Reviews department financial statements for unusual items and reviews with management.
- Provides value-added consultation to help team appropriately utilize decision support information.
- Prepares yearly budget templates and assists management with the completion of budgets.
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness with data and monitors own work to ensure quality.
- Consistently reviews and validates financial and other data.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- B.S. Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Must have a complete understanding of the double entry accounting system and an operational understanding of routine accounting functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Visio, etc.).
- Must be competent in the use of Microsoft Excel and can learn and build sophisticated formulas and models. Visual Basic knowledge is encouraged.
