We will only consider resumes from people who live in OHIO.We are looking for a strong, take charge individual to use their knowledge of the SQL programming language for architecting and building data solutions that operate on terabytes of data and scale to support the internal processes of our company that process over a billion dollars of revenue per year. The SQL Developer will fill a crucial role within the organization their duties include communicating with other developers optimizing in-application SQL statements as necessary, and establishing best practices. You will help solve all database usage issues and come up with ideas and advice that can help avoid such problems in the future.

Duties and responsibilities

§ Analyze data and provide solutions/recommendations in response to anticipated/unanticipated fluctuations in the company's business affairs

§ Write complex ad-hoc queries for data transformation and reporting

§ Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions

§ Review and interpret on-going business requirements

§ Perform analysis of data sources and processes to ensure data integrity, completeness and accuracy.

§ Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements

§ Troubleshoot job failures and resolve errors

§ Aptitude for reviewing existing code and providing enhancements to our software systems.

Qualifications

§ 3+ years of ETL experience with MS SQL Server, including SSIS and the creation of stored procedure

§ 4+ years of SQL database development experience

§ Demonstrable track record of building and launching successful products that leverage terabytes of data.

§ Database design, T-SQL programming, performance tuning, index analysis

§ Experience in database performance testing

§ Excellent interpersonal skills including analytical, problem solving, organizational, and issue resolution.

§ An ability to work independently and as part of a team in solving business problems. Solid ability in both written and verbal communication.

Job Types: Contract, Full-time

Salary: $59,631.26 - $90,000.00 per year
