Data Entry Associate Job at ZIP EXPRESS Transportation & Logistics
What you will be responsible for:
- Entering customers' orders into our system. The order would come in through our order management portal.
- Provide same day order confirmations and clarify order discrepancies.
- Support order status requests, credit card charges, and answering customer questions.
- Obtain 100% accuracy entering customer Purchase Orders. Ensure all pertinent fields are entered accurately, in a timely manner, and adhering to any unique customer requirements.
- Actively work to streamline Purchase Order entry with focus on creating consistency among customers.
- Meet established productivity rates.
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
What will you bring to the table (Skills/Experience Required):
- 1 year or more of experience in an order entry environment
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to interpret complex business documents including customer purchase orders
- Ability to professionally communicate with customers both verbally and in writing
- Proficient typing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Microsoft Outlook preferred
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and maintain both a proactive and positive attitude
- Must be able to work in a team environment, anticipate needs, and exceed customer expectations
- Demonstrate a positive approach towards team building/support is essential
- A background in supporting manufacturing processes is a plus
