Dance Instructor for Kids Job at Heartlight Dance
DANCE INSTRUCTORS & Assistants for kids WANTED!
WHO WE ARE: Heartlight Dance, a non-profit after school program in elementary schools (www.heartlightsandiego.com). We're not focused on precision or accuracy, but in fostering fitness by way of fun through dance! Dance styles are a mix of hip hop & general dance movement.
WHAT WE NEED: Energetic & fun dance instructors to teach kids (Kinder to 5th Grade), one-hr dance classes, within elementary school locations. Performance at the County Fair and Soccer Game halftime shows!
WHEN: Must have availability on any OR all weekdays in the 11:50am - 4:30pm time frame, from April to mid June. VERY FLEXIBLE! Amount of schools that instructors teach depend on instructors' availability and how well they do during the hiring process.
WHERE: Schools are in the San Diego / El Cajon / La Mesa / Spring Valley / Chula Vista / Santee / Lakeside school districts. Must live at most 25 minutes from these cities!
COMPENSATION: $27 - $35/hr, with chances of raise!
CHOREOGRAPHY: We provide it and teach you. Really easy! (beginner/intermediate level)
EXPERIENCE: None needed, but dance and teaching background a plus! Respond and briefly describe your experience (if any), and what days & times you’re free from Monday to Friday from 11:50-4:30pm! You will then be given rehearsal info, which you will be required to attend.
