Summary of Responsibilities

To provide assistance and support to the Master Scheduler, Materials Manager and production needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Create and direct scheduled cycle counts, researching discrepancies utilizing CMS reports and logs for final review by management

· Proactively communicate stock level issues with Master Scheduler and Materials Manager

· Oversight of formulary changes initiating stock location changes

· Reconciling tote receiving/put away variances, reporting overage/shortage issues to the Materials Manager and Finance

· Supports daily, weekly, and monthly inventory cycle counts in conjunction with inventory counters.

· Compiles and maintains physical and electronic records of type, quantity, and value of on-hand inventories.

· Verifies electronic data against physical counts and adjusts errors in count or computation.

· Assists book to physical reconciliation.

· Investigates inventory discrepancies, identifies root cause, and reports solutions to operations team though KPI’s

· Helps maintain and organize inventories in multiple warehouses.

· Provides direction and support to counters.

· Assists in the training of new counters.

· Ensures best practices for quality, safety, and inventory accuracy are implemented and followed.

· Provides initializing, reconciling, and posting daily inventory counts.

· Part of conducting physical inventories

· Work closely with Master Scheduler, Material Planner, and all departments within the organization that impact inventory accuracy to determine root cause for inventory inaccuracies.

· Coordinate Monthly cycle counts and reports.

· Identify root cause and corrective action for production items missed.

· Investigate and correct material variances. Drive root cause and corrective action of recurring issues.

· Identify, initiate and lead continuous improvement activities for inventory efficiency.

· Work with and maintain inventory cycle count discrepancies.

· Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
· Able to demonstrate understanding of how job performance affects product quality and customer satisfaction

· Able to prepare, read and interpret written reports, business correspondence, instructions, procedures and guidelines

· Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders, team members, suppliers and customers

· Able to maintain confidentiality, and use discretion and tact

· Able to work well with others; build and maintain positive team member relations

· Able to manage and schedule multiple priorities and meet deadlines

· Able to work flexible hours supporting three (3) shifts

· Able to calculate figures and amounts

· Excellent understanding of personal computers and MS Office, CMS, internet and customer supplied software

· Must be able to understand written instructions

Education and Experience Required
· High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred

· Prefer Associates Degree or higher

· Manufacturing plant purchasing and receiving experience preferred

· Prior demonstrated experience using personal computers in a work environment including Excel and Word software

Work Environment
· Includes office and manufacturing plant

· Must be able to perform all essential functions as appropriate on the plant floor, in meetings, and with employees of all departments, management, customers and suppliers

· Provide support for three shifts and weekend production schedule

· Flexible hours and able to work additional hours as required
