As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for assisting customers with bookings, procuring quotes, arranging domestic transport, and answering general international transportation-related questions. You will also be required to follow up with domestic pickups and deliveries, communicate with overseas offices, agents, and customers regarding shipment status, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that shipments are processed in compliance with the laws and regulations governing the US Import and Export Industry.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Operations or Customer Service role in an NVOCC or freight forwarding company is preferred
- Strong data entry and Microsoft office skill is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organization skills, attention for details and an aptitude for a fast paced, multi-tasking, customer service minded environment.
- Resourceful and think outside of the box.
