Customer Service Representative
Future Foam, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of polyurethane foam products that has been family owned for over 55 years. Our primary focus is to provide excellent quality and service throughout the manufacturing process and foster an open, trusting, safe and collaborative work environment.
We are in search of a Customer Service Representative for our Kent, WA location. Major functions of this position are customer/vendor facing, requiring a high level of professionalism, organization, strong attention to detail and the ability to multi task and adapt to changing priorities. We are interested in a highly motivated, technically minded individual who values integrity and the ability to work both individually and in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a positive and respectful work environment with co-workers, customers, vendors, and managers
- Communicate effectively via phone/email with internal and external points of contact
- Responsible for monitoring customer satisfaction levels and internal KPI requirements
- Order/Purchase Order Entry, evaluating accurate pricing, documentation and detailed record accounts
- Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, and received stock
- Authorizing payments and maintaining receipts, records and inventories
- Maintain accurate transaction records: Processing, printing, and posting EOB reports
- Organize files in chronological, alphabetical, and numerical order
- Responsible for learning procedural, policy, and system enhancements and adapting to changes as they occur
- Responsible for quality assurance/audit of work duties
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- The preferred candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a customer service, purchasing , or customer-facing role
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent on the job training
- Associate/bachelor’s degree is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access)
- Experience with ERP and/or Unix (Preferred)
- 10 Key proficiency required
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills to extract data, draw conclusions, and work strategically with other departments
- Ability to work in an environment with rapidly changing priorities
- Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities
- Keen eye for detail and time management
*Compensation commensurate with experience*
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
