We’re currently seeking a motivated individual to fill our open Customer Service role that we call a Spec Builder in New Paltz, NY.

Days and Hours:

• Onsite Monday to Friday
• 8am to 4:30pm

• 
  Creation of specifications from data supplied by customers and sales representatives
• Creation of quotes for customers based on the package type, dimensions, and use
• Provide formal quotes to customers and sales representatives via email
• Review and process customer purchase orders
• Enter details regarding customer accounts to include ship to locations and special shipping requirements
• Create purchase orders to vendors
• Communicate to both internal and external customers regarding packaging needs, quotes, and orders
• Review own work and work of peers to ensure accuracy of information

The ideal candidate will either have prior Business to Business Customer Service or Spec Building experience or the ability and passion to learn on the job. We take pride in giving our employees the opportunity to grow and develop, so we encourage all candidates to apply!

• 
  One (1) year of business to business customer service and sales support experience required
• Experience using computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Mathematical skills including fractions and measurements
• Effective communication skills, integrity, accountability, attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset
• Experience with resource planning software helpful
• High school education or equivalent - Some College preferred
