TITLE OF POSITION: Crisis Coordinator
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree or four years of equivalent education and/or experience working in the human services field. Background in Crisis work, mental health, triage, etc. Must pass KBI, DCF child & adult abuse registry, motor vehicle screen, and background checks. Must have reliable and insured transportation.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
1. Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
2. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.), SharePoint, and other applicable software.
3. Extremely high attention to detail.
4. Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete multiple projects at the same time.
5. Organize and effectively prioritize workload.
6. Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
7. Emotionally mature, sound judgment, and have a steady disposition.
8. Must be able to relate to emotionally disturbed and persistently mentally ill consumers.
9. Basic knowledge of normal and abnormal human behavior.
NUMBER OF HOURS PER WEEK: Regular full-time position
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Crisis Coordinator will provide support to the Director of Crisis Services, Manager of Crisis Services, and Crisis Therapists. Travel will be required as needed within SEKMHC catchment area: Allen, Neosho, Woodson, Anderson, Linn & Bourbon Counties
1. Process correspondence to include composition, when requested, typing, monitoring response time frame, etc.
2. Develop new forms or other printing as required for the Crisis department, including booklets, brochures, etc. Assist in compiling information/documents regarding contracts. Grants, proposal development, including typing of documents, copying, assembling, etc.
3. Develop, maintain files, maintain daily schedule, & make appointments as assigned.
4. Oversight of Crisis Service operations within center service area.
5. Process telephone calls and record accurate messages.
6. Complete reports, letters, forms, grants, procedural manuals, and other documents or transcription from the Crisis department.
7. Perform other duties delegated to enhance efficiency of the operation of the Crisis department.
8. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or the Chief Executive Officer.

SALARY: Per Pay Schedule

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.40 per hour
