Cost Accountant Job at Orizon Aerostructures LLC
Responsibilities:
- Manage and ensure accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable/cash disbursements, fixed asset accounting, inventory integrity, invoicing/billing, accounts receivable, departmental and cost accounting.
- Maintain the general ledger, review the monthly close and prepare and publish account reconciliations.
- Prepares balance sheet, P&L statements, management reports and analysis.
- Analyze/review variances from plan, forecast and standards, including purchase price variances with management.
- Develop and monitor annual profit plans, quarterly forecasts and weekly P&L flashes.
- Collaborate with Corporate Finance regarding audits, tax, treasury/cash management, risk management, ERO, labor relations and related matters.
- Maintain strong partnership with GM and Operations, identifying cost saving opportunities, process improvement and automation.
- Lead, mentor and develop local Finance team.
- Prepare, publish and monitor forecast.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
Experience
Required
- 7 year(s): Work experience in finance, accounting or business operations.
Education
Required- Bachelors or better in Accounting or related field
- Bachelors or better in Accounting
