Position Type: Full - Time
Work Location: Patuxent River, MD -Hybrid

**On-Site Requirements: On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD. Additionally, this position requires on-site work at Patuxent River, MD 2-3 days per week.

Essential Functions:

• Reconcile account balances, correcting and modifying files and records.
• Analyze and verify indirect rate calculations and project billing information.
• Create indirect rate variance vouchers.
• Process and create final closeout documentation for projects and subcontract agreements.
• Reconcile unbilled receivable accounts.
• Maintain digital and physical financial records; creating paper and electronic documents.
• Abide by all company procedures and accounting principles.
• Assist accounting and contracts departments and other managers as needed.
• Other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications and Experience:
Required:

• At least 3 years as an accountant or similar position in a Federal government contracting environment.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and familiarity with (FAR) requirements.
• Sound understanding of government contracting and DCAA reporting.

Desired:

• Experience or working knowledge of Deltek Costpoint

Security Clearance:
Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business or an Associate degree with relevant work experience.
