JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years of age and High School Graduate/GED holder.
• Must have reliable transportation to work.
• Maintains Food Handler's, CPR and First Aid Certification and Transportation Training as required by state or local regulations.
• Must have food service and commercial kitchen experience.
• Must have appropriate state driver's license in order to drive Kiddie Academy Bus to the store, bank, or assist with Bus runs and field trips.
• Must have satisfactory background check from Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Plans and prepares snacks and meals in accordance with posted menus and nutrition regulations.

• Determines meal and snack count and distributes food to each classroom.

• Removes trays and leftovers from classrooms and disposes accordingly.

• Performs weekly food and supply inventory; submits list of needed items to director.

• Ensures that all state and local health department, licensing, safety and nutritional requirements are met; follows standards of personal hygiene, safety, and sanitation and ensures that other staff in kitchen do the same.

• Keeps kitchen, including appliances, cabinets and all inventory, organized and clean.

• Assist with weekly classroom toys sanitation using dish washer.
