Blue Scorcher Bakery in Astoria, OR is looking for a Cook to join our worker owned cooperative. We are located in historic Astoria, Oregon on 1493 Duane Street.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with local & organic food, has good knife skills & organization skills!
As we're a worker owned cooperative, we represent an alternative business structure that offers a lot of flexibility and creativity but requires engagement and enthusiasm for collaboration. Each departmental circle in our organization is like a small business and we're looking for partners to join us who have a positive perspective and a desire to improve and evolve with the organization.
Responsibilities: Working at our fast paced line you'll interact with the grill, prepare various ingredients as most of our items are made in house from scratch, maintain health and safety standards, plate dishes for customers, maintain cleanliness, and take action on opportunities to improve how our department operates.
