I have a client located in DC, metro accessible, that is seeking a Controller to join their team. Upon getting settled in/transitioning into the role, this can be a hybrid or you can work on site.

What is my client seeking?

An experienced Controller with more than 10 years of experience in the DOD contracting space who is hands-on, has supervised staff and can maintain DCAA-compliant books including revenue recognition for fixed-price and cost-reimbursement contracts. The professional will be responsible for managing day to day accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, cash management, payroll, benefits administration and manage all financial related audits, internal controls and also develop cost and pricing proposals. A complete job description can be provided to professionals upon determining that they may be a potential fit.

What qualifications is my client seeking?

-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (and/or if have a Master’s in Accounting and related undergraduate degree)

-An active CPA license is preferred

-Great communication, management and analytical skills
