B. Riley Wealth (BRW) a B. Riley Financial Company (NASDAQ: RILY), is seeking a full-time Content & Marketing Specialist to effectively promote our Wealth Management division’s attributes and key differentiators.
B. Riley Wealth requires an energetic and enthusiastic marketer to develop and execute effective multi-channel marketing strategies to meet a number of business objectives, primarily focused on brand elevation and growing AUM (assets under management) through advisor acquisition. This position reports to the Marketing Director of B. Riley Wealth.
The position requires a strategic approach to maximize return on investments, with the ability to:
- employ critical thinking and creativity toward the development and execution of a marketing plan
- produce actionable insights that enable fast change implementation
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop original content and curate or repurpose other relevant content for the creation of one-pagers, fact sheets, presentation decks, ad copy, white papers, case studies, blog posts, video scripts, infographics, website content, social media posts, and more. The objective is to ensure clear, consistent, and concise messaging to effectively promote BRW’s capabilities and key differentiators.
- Ensure the BRW brand is consistent across all marketing channels and assets.
- Ensure compliance of applicable rules, regulations and policies of the industry, and the organization.
- Monitor competitor activity as well as industry/market trends.
- Edit and support production and distribution of timely content from internal market experts.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of marketing tools and systems that support the needs of registered representatives across the firm.
Job Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field of study with 3-5 years of professional experience. Financial industry experience preferred.
- Must be able to quickly acclimate to a fast-paced environment with an entrepreneurial, enthusiastic, proactive and yet disciplined approach to work.
- Must successfully manage and meet competing deadlines.
- Must have a deep understanding and working knowledge of social and digital platforms.
- Must have mastery of MS Office Suite, including Publisher.
- Experience with WordPress, website back-end interfaces, content management and email platforms is preferred.
- Must possess exceptional:
- Project management and organization skills. Ability to effectively manage multiple projects at once with competing deadlines and still meet all deadlines.
- Writing and editorial skills. Ability to write clear, compelling, informative, marketing-oriented and/or explanatory copy for a variety of mediums.
- Interpersonal communication skills. Ability to effectively interact and collaborate with all levels of management, as well as colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties.
- Analytical skills including working with measurement and analytics platforms (i.e. Facebook, Google Analytics, business intelligence platforms, etc.).
