CAT Scale Company is hiring hard-working and dedicated Construction Laborers to join our team and travel all over the United States maintaining and repairing our 2,000+ CAT Scales.

Our employees are on the road up to 3 weeks at a time, then home a week enjoying PAID time off. We offer a great salary and benefits package that gives you the security of earning a paycheck year-round.

As a Construction Laborer, you will work with and learn from all different types of people including crew members, foreman, maintenance crews, subcontractors, and customers. Laborers will encounter all types of tasks including but not limited to; concrete work and repair, scale deck repair, trenching for conduit, the use of all kinds of tools, and how to maintain CAT Scale equipment. This is a great job for people who like to get lots of exercise, work-out, and stay fit.

Employees need to live within a two-hour drive time of CAT Scale headquarters located in Walcott, Iowa.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate and work with all types of people
• Able to work successfully under limited supervision
• Must be accountable for your actions, be detail oriented, and take initiative to complete projects
• Ability to lift and move 50-75 pounds regularly
• Must be able to stand, kneel and bend over long periods
• Work outside during all types of weather
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, or 2-3 weeks at a time throughout the United States
• Ensure all safety guidelines and organizational best practices are always followed
• No minimum experience needed - but a construction background is helpful!
