Role: CW Construction Coordinator (1129709)

Location: Ontario, CA

Duration: 12 Months

· Description:

RM Notes:

**MUST have experience with supporting building facilities**

o Work Schedule: M-F – 8-5

o Travel: 50% - Domestic travel – 50% (anywhere in USA – Primarily it would on West Coast)

o Overtime: 25% - Working on extra hours/weekends/shutdowns/holidays as business requirements

o Level of experience: 2-5 years

Location: NAPCC (North American Parts Center California) 2600 S. Stanford Avenue, Ontario, CA 91764

o Need someone who is OK to commute at this location and prefer if they are closer to any major airports. They might get to work remote (work from home but only during non-active project hours)

o Mostly projects would be in Ontario, Portland, and San Francisco area but they would require travelling in rest of the West Coast and sometimes anywhere in USA as per business needs

o Must be OK with one weeks’ notice to travel requirements. Will also be supporting weekend work jumping from between projects across US locations.

Construction Coordinator to support multiple projects across the North American Sales and Distribution sites

Detailed Description of Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing general contractors, testing agencies, budgets and schedules in support and coordination of overall Environmental & Facilities construction projects. Administer construction contracts; conduct on-site inspection to monitor plan compliance and conduct safety audits in compliance with Toyota's construction safety program. Oversight of contractor activities to support project schedule and KPIs. Present status reports to owner. Receive, review and coordinate contract changes into project delivery.

· Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

· Need Bachelor's degree in any field but it is highly preferred in Construction Mgt. or Engineering

· Construction project management experience in industrial or manufacturing

· Need someone with at least an OSHA 10 certification

· Effective organizational and communication skills

· Construction cost estimating and scheduling experience

· Ability to effectively communicate and convey project status using standardized reporting process

· Proficient in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

· Proficient in MS Project (ability to create, update, and manage schedules)

Additional Desired Qualifications:

· Ability to travel extensively across multiple North American sites

· Ability to work weekends as required.

· Experience managing civil and mechanical construction projects

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
