Dekker Perich Sabatini is hiring a Construction Administrator to join our talented team. As passionate and self-driven team members at DPS, candidates would play a key role in creating inspired experiences for everyone they interact with, backed by support of a firm that has been a staple in the industry for over 60 years.

Responsibilities

• Fulfilling contract obligations while our projects are under construction.
• Perform site visits and field observations for our projects during construction.
• Represent DPS in construction progress meetings
• Keep management and design team apprised of project progress and issues as they arise on site.
• Share lessons learned from the field with the design team.
• Play a key role in supporting a variety of project types.
• Position will involve local and regional travel.

Qualifications

• Self-starter with strong organizational, management, and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated communication skills.
• Experience managing and prioritizing simultaneous projects.
• Knowledge of architecture and construction is required.
• Will be required to walk through projects and jobsites in a variety of states of completion and weather conditions.
• Understanding of OSHA, building and life safety codes preferred.
• AutoCAD/Revit, Procore or other project management software experience preferred.
• Experience in architectural products industry or construction trades preferred.
• Licensed architect, intern architect or experienced construction administrators are welcome.
