Bruns Building & Development, which is a part of Bruns Construction Enterprises, Inc., has been serving the industrial, commercial, and institutional construction industry for more than 70 years. We do large dirt projects, manufacturing facilities, reroof projects, warehousing, renovation, schools and church work. The majority of our work is self-performed with warranties that exceed industry warranties. We are looking for people who are self-motivated and want a career. Description: The applicant will be working as a Concrete Tech in commercial and industrial settings. The Concrete Tech will be responsible for running grade, finishing concrete, running equipment and pouring concrete. The job will progress as the applicant gets experience in the field, resulting in more independence and compensation.
- High school diploma/GED
- Competence with hand tools associated with the craft
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
- A basic understanding of how to read blueprints
- Good communication skills
- Applicant must have a driver's license
- Flexibility & willingness to work in multiple positions
- Wall experience a plus
- Familiarity with all aspects of concrete work
- ESOP Company (Employee Stock Ownership Plan)
