About Bark Social:

Dogs. Beer. Coffee – Bark Social brings out the fun between dogs and humans with a private, monitored off-leash dog park and an indoor/outdoor beer garden & coffee bar. Featuring a play space, casual eating and curated dog merchandise, our goal is to engage, delight, and support the dog-loving communities we serve.

Bark Social has an aggressive growth plan. It launched its first location in Bethesda, Maryland in February of 2021, and its 2nd location in Baltimore, Maryland in May 2022. Philadelphia will open March 2023, and locations four through six are in the works.

Our need:

We are looking for a part time commissary manager at our off-site location to make sandwiches and Bark Social branded dog treats. This role provides for our Bethesda and Baltimore locations and could grow with additional locations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Make, package, and label human foods, including but subject to change:
• Breakfast sandwiches
• Lunch sandwiches
• Make, package, and label dog treats, including but subject to change:
• Pupsicles
• Doggy Ice Cream
• Bags of treats

We are looking for someone who:

• Has food service experience
• Has the ability to work alone
• Is proficient in verbal communications
• Is a clear communicator and able to easily convey information both in written form and verbally
• Is clean and can follow strict food safety guidelines
• Is able to make priorities and follow through
• Is able to drive a van
• Is able to lift over 30 lbs

Compensation/Benefits:

● $15-$18/hr based on experience.
● Weekday availability.
● Eligible for Medical Insurance, 401k with employer match, and generous PTO after 90 day intro period if working over 30 hours a week. The company also offers dental, vision, life and disability insurance.
