The LFS Group is looking for a Commercial Construction Superintendent!

*Must have five or more years as a commercial construction superintendent*

Responsibilities:

• Supervise employees and sub trades on projects to ensure completion of work in accordance with project scope and deadline.
• Ensure all proposed changes in scope or schedule are clearly communicated and approved by the office team prior to execution and commitment to the customer
• Maintain a safe, secure and healthy work environment by adhering to company safety policies, protocols, and OSHA compliance
• Complete all project documentation to support work completion.
• Perform basic sheet metal working such as duct work, exhaust fans, sheet metal, copper.
• Work alongside the crew to measure, cut, and install metal for exhaust fans, air ducts, and more.
• Maintain timesheets, communication with project manager, and timeline of the work on projects

Physical Requirements:

• This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and a sense of urgency. You must be able to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry up to 80 pounds throughout the shift.
• You will also be required to stoop, squat, walk, and stand throughout your shift, and you will be required to climb stairs and step ladders.
• You will follow all OSHA regulations, as required by law to safely perform your duties.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years professional carpentry/commercial construction experience
• OSHA 30 Certification Required
• CPR Certification Required
• Familiar with metal stud framing, drywall, and flooring
• Proficient knowledge in reading and interpreting blueprints with proven capability of analyzing and constructing details as indicated on drawings; understanding of standard and metric units of measure
• Proficient knowledge of building codes and construction safety regulations
• Proficient knowledge of typical construction sub-trade work
• Proficient in using construction tools (i.e. hand tools, power tools, jobsite equipment, etc.)
• Proficient leadership, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, multi-tasking, training and management skills
• Demonstrate ability to manage and/or coordinate with people at all levels – PM’s, engineers, building owners, city officials, subcontractors, etc.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and insurance

***We only use electronic timesheets to record hours worked and a smartphone with a data plan is required for each employee to utilize our App, send messages and answer any checkout questions required before clocking out at the end of the shift.

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
