Twin City Staffing has partnered with one of Minnesota’s fastest growing manufacturers and is seeking an experienced CNC lathe machinist. This busy shop is located in the Saint Paul area and is offering up to $30/hour plus benefits.

Location: Saint Paul, MN

Wage: $20 – 30/hr.

Hours:

• 1st shift: 6 am – 3 pm, Monday – Friday
• 2nd shift: 3 am – 2 pm, Monday – Friday
• Off early Friday!

Job duties of the CNC lathe machinist:

• Set up and manage CNC lathe machines to perform different jobs including drilling and grinding
• Read and understand blueprints
• Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with guidelines of the company
• Conduct tool changes
• Sett tolerance levels and cut speeds
• Perform proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories
• Perform offsets, edits, inspections, etc.
• Basic knowledge of G&M codes
• Measure features on parts using common measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)

Requirements of the CNC lathe machinist:

• 5+ years set up experience on lathes
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of tooling
• Read blueprints
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
