Primary Health Medical Group is seeking a CNA to work in our busy Urgent Care clinic. The chosen candidate will receive customized orientation and training to successfully perform all skills and procedures. You will work in a team environment to promote a positive experience in patient care with compassion and kindness. You will support licensed staff and provider(s) in providing an excellent patient experience by efficiently meeting the patient's needs. You will support efficient clinic flow and communicate accurately and positively with team members.
Status: Full Time, 40 hours per week
Location: North Caldwell- 512 N. 21st Avenue Caldwell, ID 83605
Schedule: Monday- Friday 10 am-6 pm

Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients including sterilization, cleaning, and checks on medical equipment
- Assist with Drug Screenings and Breath Alcohol Tests
- Create accounts and inputting patient demographics for DOT Physicals
- Administer Covid and Flu Vaccines (contingent upon performance)
- Complete Car Side Covid Testing (Asymptomatic)
- Dispense medications
- Perform CLIA-waved in-house testing for patients of all ages
- Assist back office in managing patient flow, paperwork, and customer service
- Accurately document patient encounters
- Relay provider instruction to patients
- Assist with all non-direct patient care tasks (autoclaving, stocking room, scanning records, lab cleaning, etc.)
- Assist with patient call backs for referrals only
- Assist or lead in emergency situations
- Maintains confidentiality regarding patient and business functions of the organization, i.e. HIPPA
- Other duties as assigned
- CNAs will have a certificate of completion from a nationally accredited program and be eligible to sit for exam.
- Previous clinical experience preferred
- Customer service oriented attitude/behavior
- Computer proficiency is required and ability to use applicable software as required performing the essential functions of the job
- Required vaccines to include COVID-19, annual Influenza, Hep B, TDaP, and TB.
