Clinical Therapist- Unity Health Home Team Job at Care New England
The Unity Team at the Providence Center is looking for a Clinical Therapist to work with a multi-disciplinary team that consists of case managers, substance abuse specialists, psych nurses, and a psychiatrist to coordinate services for consumers to minimize stressors, provide psychotherapy, and facilitate the reduction of psychiatric symptoms.
Job Summary:
The Clinical Therapist will provide outpatient psychotherapy either at The Providence Center or in the community.
Perform a comprehensive psychosocial assessment of assigned consumers.
Complete crisis assessments, initial assessments and integrated summary forms.
Develop and implement a plan of care with ongoing consumer input.
Provide individual mental health and/or substance abuse treatment and crisis assessment.
Perform record keeping in accordance with Health Information Services and other Center requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Psychology or Social Work. Relevant clinical experience preferred.
Ability to write reports and correspondences. Ability to speak effectively with consumers, community agencies and Center employees.
Must have valid driver's license and insured auto.
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week with an hour for lunch. Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm. Weekends and Holidays off.
