JOB OVERVIEW – Clinical Psychologist works with staff and patients to identify needs, available resources, and gaps in services. Detect psychological, emotional, behavioral issues, and diagnose disorders using information obtained from interviews, tests, records, or reference materials. Use a variety of treatment methods, such as psychotherapy, behavior modification, psychodrama, and other methods. Prepare and complete written assessment reports.
QUALIFICATIONS – Licensed as required by title 37, chapter 17, part 3, MCA, by the Montana Board of Medical Examiners, including:
Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited college or university.
Complete a course of study meeting minimum standards specified in the Board's rules ARM 24.189.604.
Pass all steps of the medical licensing examination as designated by the Board of Medical Examiners.
