Clinical Nurse Manager in the
Orthopedic Surgery Center for our location in Sidney, Ohio (North Dayton, Ohio) area.

Hours: 40 hours a week (Salaried Exempt)

Position Reports to: President of Operations and Chief Nursing Officer
Job Summary: The Clinical Nurse Manager in the Orthopedic Surgery Center has 24-hour accountability for the management of the specified nursing units including planning, organizing and staffing the unit to provide quality care to the patients as well as quality service to the medical staff. Promotes the Mission, Vision and Values of the Hospital.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervises and directs nursing care provided for patients of the Surgery Center.
- Provides a safe and sterile environment for patients, families, personnel and medical staff.
- Assist physicians and surgeons by providing adequate and qualified personnel.
- Responsible for efficient scheduling of patients, surgeons, anesthesiologists and staff.
- Provide control of materials, supplies and equipment as required.
- Responsible for efficient room turn-over times for cases.
- Provide ongoing educational and in house training for staff as required.
- Plans, directs, controls and coordinates all administrative duties for proper management and operation of Surgical Center and assigned personnel.
- Coordinates activities of Surgical Center with contractors and vendors.
- Evaluates and analyzes all nursing services for quality and efficiencies.
- Accountable and responsible for all nursing care and related activities and functions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Science Degree in Nursing
- Five (5) years of leadership responsibilities
- Experience required in OR and Recovery Room nursing
- Current R.N. license in State of Ohio
