We are seeking a Clinical Director for our Child Behavioral Health programs. HSI has provided integrated services that support the recovery of people with psychiatric disabilities since 1996. The Clinical Director provides clinical and administrative oversight of our Child Behavioral Health Programs. This is a full time, salaried position, Monday through Friday.

Job Duties

  • Provide Quality Assurance of service authorization requests prior to forwarding to Managed Care Plans and respond to additional requests for clinical justification.
  • Establish, communicate, pursue and achieve specific agency and program goals.
  • Recruit, hire, train, organize and supervise the activities of program staff.
  • Provide ongoing oversight and direction to staff to ensure that the goals of the company and its employees are aligned with and meet the needs of participants and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate training opportunities for employees in such a way as to ensure their professional needs are met.
  • Implement practices that will assure participant satisfaction with services with a focus on “being the best”.
  • Implement practices and actively supervise staff to develop strong morale and company loyalty among their team.
  • Implement community engagement activities aimed at building stakeholder awareness of our available services and maintaining a positive professional image in the community.
  • Actively participate in management and leadership meetings and activities relating to the company as a whole.
  • Monitor and ensure that agency policy and procedures; and all regulations and laws related to our operations are followed by company employees, contractors, service participants, and other stakeholders.
  • Make recommendations to the administrator on known information and ideas related to developing and maintaining any and all competitive advantages and practices in our service area.

This is a part-time director/part-time direct service delivery position.

We provide a majority of services via telehealth. Some in person services are provided with appropriate protective policies in place due to COVID-19

Requirements

  • Applicant MUST have a current and unrestricted masters level license from the State of Idaho, Bureau of Occupational Licenses in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy;
  • pass a Criminal Background check and pre-employment drug screening.
  • Applicants with a LMSW license, MUST be within 6 months of eligibility for the LCSW credential.
  • At least 1 year of experience in managing and advocating for managed care treatment authorizations in Idaho is preferred.
  • Applicant must be familiar with evidenced based treatment approaches as well as the Idaho YES program.
