Clinic Manager (MTS Counseling Center) Job at Moody Bible Institute
The Clinic Manager is responsible for the operational oversight and operational administration of the MTS Counseling Center. These include daily business operations, ensuring adherence to all appropriate HIPPA laws and legal and ethical mandates as well as documentation requirements as defined by City, State, and other Federal regulatory agencies, and fiscal and administrative duties.
Essential Functions

- Plan, evaluate, and implement services through the MTS Counseling Center.
- Monitor the program’s fiscal viability and productivity standards in consultation with the Dean of the Seminary and the Dean of Operations.
- Assist the clinical director and supervising faculty of the MTS Counseling Field with clinical supervision of student interns as well as monitoring intern ability to act in a professional manner and maintain client confidentiality.
- Maintain accurate and verifiable and completed practicum hours for each intern per licensure requirements.
- Monitor MTS Counseling Center effectiveness by managing clinic appointment schedule and intern caseload.
- Develop marketing strategies for the MTS Counseling Center in consultation with the Dean of the Seminary and the Marketing Department of MBI
- Prepare the yearly budget and administration of expenses in consultation with the Dean of the Seminary and the Director of the Counseling Center.
- Oversee office equipment and workspaces and schedules repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with the Director of the Counseling Center to lead and facilitate clinic staff meetings.
- Reflect the mission and vision of Moody Theological Seminary.
- Fulfill other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Must have a MA degree or higher in counseling, psychology, social work, or other clinical mental health or human services concentration.
- LPC or LCPC License
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary counseling setting.
- Authorized to work in the US legally without sponsorship.

- Possesses excellent social skills, professional demeanor, and leadership qualities.
- Evidence of excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail, organization, and time management.
- Evidences a commitment to follow-up and follow-through with many tasks that demand attention.
- Demonstrates proficiency in standard office productivity software including Microsoft Office and knowledge of or ability to learn clinic-specific software programs including EMR and QuickBooks.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team to organize tasks, problem solve, and make sound decisions while handling multiple priorities.
- LCPC license

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Hours: Monday–Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
This role is performed primarily from the MTS campus in Chicago, IL. No travel is expected for this position.
