  • Coordinates schedules of assigned staff for hours of work for each designated child on a weekly basis as prescribed by set schedule and in compliance with IAG policy and procedures for hours worked per workweek and in accordance with each designated person’s Individual Service Plan.
  • Coordinates worker’s delivery of assigned work tasks examining timeliness of delivery relative to planned work schedule and discussing appropriate use of time using both formal and informal methodology in order to interpret results of task performance for worker growth and to ensure that performance standards necessary to achieve objectives are met.
  • Monitors workers’ delivery of services and supports examining methods and techniques used relative to each child’s specific plan discussing appropriate implementation of methods and techniques with worker(s) in order to assure appropriate delivery of services and supports in accord with IAG procedures and state rules.
  • Determines and/or interprets work procedures (e.g., scheduling priority tasks) in order to promote efficiency, assure individual’s programmatic and personal needs are met and to coordinate flow of work.
  • Communicates with diagnostic professionals, counselors/therapists, DCFS caseworkers, CASA court staff or probation officer on behalf of Field Staff in order to assure accurate and updated interchange of information, intervention methods and recording of data.
  • Examines and evaluates primary and collateral information (tracking sheets, goals, progress notes, etc.) from Field Staff, professionals and others to monitor case records in order to check timeliness, presence, completeness and adherence to standards of entry and compliance with IPP service plan.
  • Conducts regularly scheduled staff communications using pager, telephone or individual discussions, using discretion as to subject matter and time of communication, in order to coordinate service delivery to assigned individuals.
  • Trains new Field staff or conducts in-services for current Field Staff using necessary materials in accordance with IAG policies and procedures in order to assure implementation of appropriate techniques for service intervention, compliance with planned program and assure staff has been presented with IAG policies and procedures.
  • Participates in/conducts/attends meetings of an informational or problem solving nature, e.g., program planning meeting, parent meeting, diagnostic, intake/discharge, court, or probation officer contributing appropriate input, in order to establish and maintain effective communication, to assure professional program planning and monitoring and to perform necessary organizational business.
  • Writes/develops sequence of steps or procedures by which individual may achieve specified result or goal, adapting and modifying plan as changes in situations and/or individual require, in order to implement effective interventions/supports and to monitor progress.
  • Writes/reviews/evaluates individual’s program plan, referring to recommendations of program planning team, individual and individual’s family, IAG staff, previous performance and outcomes, makes adjustment and changes using discretion as to need in order to formulate individual program plan.
  • Monitors/writes incident reports using staff and individual’s information, case records and knowledge of the situation, recommending and approving plans for resolution in order to compile required records and information for service planning, assure communication of crucial events within IAG and to meet state regulations.
  • Implements services and supports program following prescribed methods and techniques from the plan based on scheduled time for service delivery in accordance with IAG procedures and state requirements.
  • Reinforces proper behavior, language and social pattern etc., in order to improve or increase consistency of the independent functioning of the person.
  • Exchanges with, receives from or provides to diagnostic staff, colleagues or supervisor information about the individual or individual program in verbal or written format as required in order to maintain records, plan or implement services.
  • Formulates client objectives and evaluates client’s performance on assigned objectives examining outcome against stated criteria, using rating scales, tracking sheets, monthly progress notes, etc., in order to ensure personal growth and improvement in specific skills.
  • Inspects/monitors clients for appropriateness noting clothing, hygiene, behavior, etc., in reference to standards and taking corrective action if required in order to maintain the dignity, health, welfare and safety of individuals
  • Substitutes for absent coworker in performance of assigned duties with direction from supervisor in order to endure the day-today functioning of the unit.
  • Completes reports, forms, progress notes, and staff work schedules etc., using performance records, tracking sheets, and established guidelines in order to maintain compliance with agency and state requirements.
