Summary

The CNA assists patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and transferring to non-acutely ill patients. The goal of the CNA is to keep our patient’s safe and make sure all needs are met. As a team member they will assist in maintenance of a safe and clean environment for both patients and staff. This position is under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. It truly is an honor to connect and assist members of our community through vulnerable and difficult time knowing that your role made an impact on their recovery and rehabilitation. Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Successful completion of a certified nursing assistant program.
• Currently certified as a Nursing Assistant in the state of Nebraska.
• One (1) years of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)experience in a transitional care unite/skilled nursing facility or hospital experience is preferred.
• Obtain and maintain current BLS CPR prior to hire.
• Ability to bend, lift, and twist 50+lbs with safe body mechanics.
• Successful completion of competency and proficiency skills evaluation specific to the requirements of the position upon hire.
• Licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order and ability to drive in all weather conditions to ensure reliability.
