Certified Medical Assistant Job at Seattle Pain Relief
Seattle Pain Relief is a busy pain management practice with two locations currently. Our two locations are located in Federal Way and Northgate. We are a private practice focused on growth and teamwork. A large part of our practice is focused on interventional pain; conducting injections and other outpatient procedures. We are currently looking for Medical Assistants for both locations. As a Medical Assistant your focus will be primarily on back office support of providers. Chart prep, rooming patients, taking calls to answer patient questions, and more.
Responsibilities:
Measure and record vital signs
Prepare patients for examinations
Assist provider with exams and minor procedures
Prior authorizations for procedures, testing, DME supplies etc.
Triage of patient phone calls
Assist with care management
Assist with Quality Improvement projects
Regular communication with providers regarding patient care both verbally and through the EMR
Knowledge of and adherence to OSHA safety standards
Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal, medical and financial information per HIPAA.
Qualifications
Current Medical Assistant Certification (Required)
2 years’ experience (Preferred)
EMR experience (Required)
Strong writing and verbal skills
Ability to work through interruptions, manage multiple priorities and handle stressful situations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Experience:
- EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
- Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
- Certified Medical Assistant (Required)
