Job Summary:
Accountable for proactively and collaboratively managing company’s high priority Information Technology, Drilling, Completions, or Operations spend through strategic sourcing, supplier life- cycle and contract management.
Major responsibilities:
- Prepare RFQ packets for regular bidding process which includes vetting suppliers, assisting suppliers with getting onboarded to participate in the bidding process and monitoring supplier participation in the process.
- Review bids and pricing agreements upon their return from suppliers and vendors for completeness, quality and accuracy in order to be considered through the RFQ process.
- Communicate with suppliers and vendors to resolve inquiries, support timely supplier invoice approvals, and process and track supplier change requests.
- Track and reconcile actual material cost to contract or pricing agreement for accuracy.
- Analyze the KPI data and actively engage category manager with results and recommendations for improvements.
- Prepare presentations for category manager meetings with suppliers, vendors and asset engineers.
- Develop knowledge of the designated category and other categories and commodities, including the cost drivers.
- Manage the majority of aspects of supplier life cycle for assigned vendors.
- Internal applicants should meet all eligibility requirements per employee handbook.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Information Technology or other related field preferred.
- Minimum of 0 to 6 years’ experience in information technology procurement, materials management, inventory and /or other applicable business required.
- Oil and Gas experience strongly preferred.
- Well versed in sourcing strategies through education and work experience.
