RESPONSIBILITIES:

Guest Service

• Provides a "WOW" Experience to all Guests of Zankou through excellent Guest Service with a high level of energy, friendly and positive attitude
• Helps Guests by providing information and suggestions about our menu
• Takes and completes Guest order transactions on POS Station (cash register)
• Takes charge of all transactional procedures including expediting, checking for accuracy, correcting orders, and communicating with BOH team.
• Responsible for accurately processing cash and credit card transactions by following all cash handling policies
• Professionally and calmly resolves Guest complaints with manager supervision
• Greets and assists Guests, completing requests to the best of their ability at the cash register and dining area

Teamwork

• Partners with restaurant cooks to assist with prepping duties as needed such as stocking items, preparing produce and sauces, and cleaning prep areas
• Has a strong Team Member attitude and can work well with others from diverse backgrounds
• Communicates with Team Members and Management throughout the shift regarding status of orders and availability of product
• Maintains all dining and restroom areas in a clean, sanitary and safe manner by cleaning all surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and removing trash from the restaurant

Safety

• Understands and follows all food safety and temperature standards
• Helps maintain a safe environment for all Guests and Team Members by following all Zankou Chickens Safety procedures

All other duties as assigned

SKILLS & EXPECTATIONS

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule
• Willingness to adapt to a changing and growing environment
• Food Handler Certificate (obtain within 30 days of hire)
• Basic math skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Reaches, bends, squats and frequently lifts and/or moves up to 50lbs
• Multi-tasking, organization and time-management skills
