We are looking for multiple commercial carpenters in Omaha, NE for a local construction company. This company specializes in apartments and multi-family homes. All work will be in Omaha, NE. Foreman opportunity for high skilled candidates.

Description:

We are looking for skilled carpenters to work on new apartments/multifamily units. These carpenters will be responsible for all facets of carpentry but will be utilized in the space that they are most experienced in (Rough or Finish).

• Finish work includes trim work, crown molding, cabinet installation, toilet partitions, installing doors and door hardware. Some punch list work will be involved towards the end of projects.
• Rough carpenters will be expected to be familiar with reading blueprints. They will be primarily stick framing, installing prefabricated wall panels, installing backing, building door and window frames. Rough carpenters will have the opportunity to move into finish carpentry if they are interested.

Wage:

• $22/hr - $30/hr
• Wage is determined on past experience and interview

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday 45-50 hours per week
  • Very rarely Saturdays

Work Environment:

• 100% of the work will be on commercial jobsites in Omaha - NO TRAVEL REQUIRED
• Indoor and outdoor work- will be out in harsh conditions at times- heat, cold, snow, rain

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 2+ years of carpentry experience preferred
  • Experience with apartment projects is a bonus
• Reliable Transportation
• Basic Hand Tools
