BASIC FUNCTION (Summary): The Busser-Server Assistant is responsible for the clearing and setting of tables in a timely manner. This role also acts as food runner. The cleanliness of the restaurant, china, glass, and silverware are also some of the primary responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Clear tables as needed. Reset with proper linen, china, silver and glassware.

2. Greet guests in a prompt and efficient manner, provide water and bread throughout the meal to the guest.

3. Complete opening and closing sidework.

4. Provide quick and attentive assistance to servers and manager

5. Coordinate table status with host/hostess

6. Assist bar area as needed, clearing, stocking, replenishment of all items

7. Keep work area neat and clean.

8. Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants.

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager.

2. Help in other areas of the restaurant or outlets, as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Knowledge, Training and Work Experience

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· One year restaurant experience.

· Pleasant personality.

· Excellent communication skills.
