Studio Diner, located in the Kearny Mesa area of San Diego, is the next best thing to Mom’s home cooking. We are a casual eatery that will bring you back to the good ole days of comfort food while taking a bite out of Hollywood.

Qualifications:

• Local health department sanitation certificate (Must have the ability to obtain within 30 days of employment).
• Ability to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays.
• Will be required to attend training meetings and work-related seminars.
• Position spends 100% of the time standing.

Duties and Requirements:

• Ability to complete duties in addition to bussing standards, such as stocking and food running.
• Maintain proper levels of required supplies and high level of cleanliness throughout the Diner.
• Remove dirty dishes, soiled linen, glassware and silver from table and countertops, then carries items back to dishwashing area.
• Refill non-alcoholic beverages, as needed.
• Replenish ice in soda machine and bar area and condiments, as needed.
• Reset tables in a prompt and efficient manner, keeping floor area under table clean.
• Work with servers, as a team to provide excellent service to our guests.
• Act as a role model to other employees and always present oneself as a credit to Studio Diner and encourage others to do the same.
• Meet attendance guidelines of the job.
• Provide fast, friendly, and excellent service to every customer.
• Have a warm, welcoming, and polite personality, always.
• Know how to work comfortably under pressure.
• Have a "Take Charge" attitude.
• Be able to take direction and make good decisions "on the fly."
