Job Description: The Business Systems Security Administrator will be responsible for supporting the operational and analytical systems of the organization, working closely with Business Systems Analysts to address application security needs, onboarding and offboarding processes, and periodic compliance reporting. Additionally, the Business Systems Security Administrator will oversee tasks related to Identity Management, Network Activity Monitoring, Intrusion Detection, and Reporting. This role will also provide security consultation on IT projects, recommending best practices while ensuring adherence to company security policies.
Job Responsibilities:
- D365fo:
o Create and maintain user security profiles in Dynamics 365fo.
o Create and maintain security access for new features and enhancements.
o Work directly with business leaders and users to provide least provisioned application security for the business to be successful.
o Execute timely terminations of users in Dynamics 365fo.
o Document and manage application security processes and procedures in Dynamics 365fo.
o Maintain compliance software and data to ensure monthly / quarterly reporting is successful.
o Track and communicate system enhancements and new features.
o Proactively solve for over provisioning security scenarios to reduce financial and business risk.
o Optimize and improve security provisioning to ensure the lowest costs for licensing.
o Effectively serve as a backup to supporting Product and Transportation management systems.
- Identity Management: Authorize and manage employees' online identities, allowing the right people to access the right information at the right time. Identify policy violations and address potential problems before breaches occur.
- Project Support: Serve as a security consultant on IT projects. Recommend best practices and ensure solutions adhere to corporate policies.
- Monitoring: Monitor network activity, investigate suspicious actions, update security software, and respond to security incidents.
- Intrusion Detection: Flag and address suspicious activities. Use network intrusion and host intrusion detection systems.
- Intrusion Reporting: Provide weekly intrusion incident updates related to Laptops, Software, Networks, Firewalls, Servers, and Databases.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Knowledge of ERP systems and processes
- Ability to document and manage security testing scenarios and results
- Working knowledge of software development tools including on premise and cloud-based systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with collaboration, open communication
- Self-management skills
- Exceptional attitude and work ethic
- Effective presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills
Education & Experience:
- 2+ years IT application security experience (Dynamics 365fo or equivalent ERP preferred)
- Bachelor's degree is desirable
- Applications security analyst or tester certification is a plus
- Knowledge of FastPath Compliance software is also a plus
- Knowledge of DBMS systems, database and cloud architecture preferred
- Proven track record of timely execution of work
- Proficient with MS Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- User training experience is desired
