Job Summary:
As the business systems analyst, you will be responsible for enhancing the quality of IT products and services. Focusing on solutions that deliver value to business operations.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Become a subject matter expert in the core business functions and technology solutions.
  • Work with stakeholders and developers to write user stories which are independent, negotiable, valuable, estimable, small, and testable
  • Breakdown the roadmap into epics and group user stories under them
  • Responsible for ensuring user stories include validation criteria which reasonably covers all areas necessary for complete testing of the new functionality
  • Act as an interface and advocate to ensure stakeholder and user needs are being addressed
  • Collaborate with and support developers during their design and development efforts to provide support for their analysis of the story
  • Provide additional support and guidance to clients during the implementation phase to include development of test plans, test cases and training material
  • Participate as a member of the Testing team
  • Participate as a member of the Development team
  • Validate that product deliveries meet stakeholder requirements and drive product demos
  • Represent stakeholders and users during backlog grooming sessions and internal demos
  • Improve and expand knowledge and skill sets regarding current trends and changes in the software development industry and be up to date with latest design trends
  • Proactively contribute to the quality of the product by seeking and proposing new or alternative approaches to address the requirements
  • Participate in Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Scrum Meetings, and other agile activities

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Knowledge of agile software development practices, principles, and techniques
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) experience
  • Solid working knowledge of process modeling, workflows, and gap analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with team members of all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Qualifications / Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or a master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
  • Experience as a Business Analyst on an Agile software development team
  • Expertise with JIRA, Confluence, and the rest of the Atlassian suite
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills
  • Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary

All employees are eligible to receive some form of company benefits. All benefits are available to regular, full-time employees who maintain an average of 30 hours worked per week. Pay: $70,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
