Position Summary
As a member of the professional staff, contributes general knowledge and skill in a discipline area (e.g. Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Information Resources, Operations Planning & Support, Sales & Marketing) to support team and/or department objectives. Generally works under close supervision or within well-established guidelines to complete routine tasks.

Specific Job Summary
To support the Financial Services business group and provide a lead role in application analysis, design, implementation, reporting, and ongoing production support for systems associated within the Financial Services department.
Expected Contributions
Performs the following types of basic tasks: analysis, auditing, budgeting, forecasting, programming, research, report generation, and software integration.
Responds to, solves and makes decisions on standard/routine business requests with limited risk.
Responsible for own work and contributing to team, department and/or business results. May direct work of non-management staff.
Assists more senior associates in achieving business results by:
utilizing technical knowledge and skills to enhance business processes.
establishing priorities for self and, where appropriate, others.
allocating own time effectively to meet goals in a manner that does not disadvantage other associates or groups.
contributing to department/unit budget as appropriate (i.e., input, following guidelines, etc).
Demonstrates an awareness of personal strengths and areas for improvement and acts independently to improve and increase skills and knowledge.
Performs other duties as appropriate.

Specific Expected Contributions
Supports existing systems development and participates in system development reviews.
Review manual processes and develop automated solutions.
Document and develop training plans to train associates on new applications.
Supports existing systems and small system development projects for the Financial Services group.
Develop and lead processes to improve data integrity within Financial Services systems.
Supports business processes and users in day to day system operations.
Works with business owners on small projects in support of new and existing systems by interpreting business needs into functional requirements for Information Resources.
Evaluates programming alternatives and recommends solutions for business needs.
Analyzes system faults and provides alternative methods for work-flow or technology improvements.
Utilizes internal and external resources to ensure correct standards (technology, QA) are being used.
Performs Level 1 problem resolution for service requests.
Responsible for reactive communications to end users and proactive communications on changes and helpful hints.
Facilitates on testing issues and reporting needs.
Participates in the development and maintenance of the systems security processes to ensure MVCI's data is adequately protected.
Perform other duties or special projects as assigned by management.

Candidate Profile
Successful candidates should possess knowledge and experience and demonstrate strong leadership and relationship skills as follows:

Usually a professional position with general knowledge in a discipline (i.e., Accounting, Human Resources, Information Resources). College degree and/or related experience typically required.

Specific Candidate Profile (the education, experience, skills and attributes that are important for this position)
3 - 5 years Financial Services experience, or previous system support experience in a similar environment.
Ability to analyze and identify problems and present solutions.
Ability to lead and direct small teams of associates from time to time. Ability to multi-task with limited supervision
Must possess an intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel,
Experience in Microsoft Access and Word, and Sagent desirable
Detail Oriented.
Strong Analytical skills.
BA/BS preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to interact with all levels of management.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills required.
