Business Management Lead Job at Savvee Consulting, Inc.
Savvee Consulting is seeking to hire a Business Management Lead to provide expert support to our Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) customer, located in Washington, DC. Candidates must be able to provide onsite support with sharp attention to detail and the ability to manage day to day operations for the contract.
This position is contingent upon award of contract.
Essential Functions
- Providing business management support and advanced master scheduling for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring OCIO business management projects throughout the complete lifecycle
- Assisting the government customer with drafting acquisition and procurement-related deliverables
- Processing contract invoices and IPACs for payment within 7 business days of receipt
- Preparing Purchase Request (PR) documents and coordinating routing requisitions for approved quotes and IT orders
- Conducting financial research and complex reconciliation analysis of financial data to identify erroneous transactions and processes corrective actions
- Routing draft APFS records for government approval
- Accessing tools such as PRISM, FFMS, APFS, C-FIT, electronic and physical files, legacy systems and other financial systems to research finances, budget, accounting, contracts, invoices, obligations, expenditures, performance, and assisting generation of accurate payment instructions
- Drafting responses to business management data calls and audit inquiries
- Developing and maintaining weekly business management status reports that track PRs, deliverables, costs, action items, milestones, and performance metrics
- Developing and maintaining weekly purchase requisition statuses, contract closeouts, contract deobligations, and active contract reports
- Developing, facilitating, and conducting trainings on business management, costs analysis and scheduling tools, techniques, processes, procedures, and best practices for end-users, customers, team members and OCIO staff
- Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client
- Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support
