About you:
The Business Improvement Engineer is responsible for assuring that customer requirements are understood and translated into robust processes which comply with legal and quality approval requirements. This is achieved by working with all employees to increase the company’s efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability by identifying and facilitating opportunities for improvement.
You will lead improvement activity within Incora’s site, to ensure improvement targets are meet through the application of lean and continuous improvement tools and through coaching employees in the use of business improvement tools and techniques.
What you will do
· You will lead improvements projects within operations and transactional departments for their sites.
· Document site continuous improvement plan regularly review and report status to enable business leadership teams to ensure performance targets are meet.
· Facilitate the review of improvements projects to ensure; identification of new improvement opportunities, prioritization of new ideas and robust progress of all launched improvement projects.
· Evaluate training needs in the application of continuous improvement tools and techniques.
· Review and improve key business processes to drive compliance and reduce risk of failure.
· Participation in improvement activities at department/company level to enhance business performance.
What you'll need:
· Bachelors degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering or relevant field
· Lean Six Sigma experience
· Some project management experience
· Some proven experience of delivering change programs
· Good verbal and written communication skills
· Good facilitation skills
