Leighton provides innovative engineering solutions in environmental, geotechnical and construction projects for a diverse client base in commercial, public works, residential and industrial markets.
We are seeking a self-motivated and collaborative individual, who is passionate about building relationships with existing and potential clients. This position will work out of our Santa Clarita/Los Angeles office.
Responsibilities will include:
- Identify new clients and sectors with business potential
- Establish and develop relationships with potential and existing clients
- Attend appropriate association/industry events
- Collaborate and be able to work with a wide spectrum of personalities

Requirements:
A successful candidate should have
- A Bachelor's degree
- The ability to drive a sales opportunity from initial contact through close
- A proven track record in outside sales
- Excellent communication, written and verbal skills
- Superior relationship and interpersonal skills
- A high degree of self-motivation, have the ability to work independently, but also be a team player
