Business Development Manager (Light Industrial Staffing Sales) Job at Onin
The Business Development Manager is a sales professional who thrives in a producer role and is eager and motivated to drive growth through innovation. This individual is charged with developing new clients for the Indianapolis, IN Ōnin Staffing branch and maintaining key metric benchmarks set up by the sales team leaders.
Ōnin Staffing is our light industrial and clerical staffing division of The Ōnin Group, which is among the top two percent of domestic staffing companies in sales volume. This division represents our foundational business and has been the driving force behind our exponential growth rate over the last 20 years. Ōnin Staffing currently accounts for 85% of our overall business with over 100 branches across the U.S.

Work Experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a productive call-to-close ratio
- Act as your client's advocate, working with them through the entire process with a consultative approach
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective and successful strategies for the company and self-financial growth
- Follow up on leads generated by marketing activities
- Collaborate with your recruiters to attract top talent and ensure client satisfaction
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
- 2 years of staffing experience in a leadership role
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, candidates, and the general public.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Self-motivation and self-discipline
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to set and execute sales calls via telephone and in person
- Experience selling a service vs. a product
