Webasto Battery Systems Inc. is currently recruiting for Business Development talent located at our HQ in Auburn Hills, MI.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify growth opportunities with major OE’s such as Ford, GM, Stellantis, Nissan, Hyundai, BMW, Mercedes, Navistar, PACCAR, Volvo, Daimler, et. al
- Evaluate and understand the battery systems market landscape in North America
- Meet with key local / global
- Understand their strategy and needs
- Articulate Webasto’s model and unique selling points – value proposition
- Represent Webasto at major E-mobility trade shows
- Understand, develop, present our product messaging
- Identify strategic partnerships, business model innovation, potential cross business unit initiatives which will accelerate Webasto’s growth in Emobiity
- Monitoring mid- to long-term business trends/outlooks, gathering competitive & market intelligence to contribute to strategic business planning discussions with leadership
- Identifying and developing optimal revenue models, sales/distribution channels, pricing and new product development strategies
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree Engineering preferred – (Electrical / Chemical / Mechanical)
- 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, application engineering
- Knowledge of Automotive, Commercial Truck, Emobility
- Knowledge of Battery Systems preferred
- Experience working in a global, matrix organization a plus
- Willingness to travel up to 25% required
